The Challenge- Pinnacle Advertising approached me with a highly technical concept: a Jeep that undergoes a full, photorealistic customization/transformation right before the viewer’s eyes. This required more than standard motion graphics; it demanded fully CGI environment where every piece of automotive hardware had to be textured, and animated with flawless photorealism.
The Execution- Leveraging the Blender 3D Cycles engine, I built a specialized pipeline to manage the high-fidelity rendering required for automotive broadcast. I utilized the RenderStreet farm to handle the massive compute power needed for the transformation sequences, ensuring a smooth, flicker-free result. Beyond the animation scope, I provided the agency with a suite of high-resolution CGI stills for their additional marketing and print campaigns, maximizing the value of the assets I created.
The Outcome- The project was a definitive success, resulting in a campaign that “dripped with photorealism” and exceeded the technical expectations of the client. This project pushed the boundaries of my 3D skillset and remains a benchmark for my ability to deliver elite, fully CGI vehicle content for national automotive brands.
